Conservation Science, Avian Population Dynamics, Wildlife Ecology and Management
My research interests are mainly focused on the ecology and conservation of neotropical avian communities, but also wildlife response to management practices, ecology of avifauna in agricultural landscapes, and estimating species-habitat relationships. My thesis work involves radio tracking and telemetry techniques, to estimate the influence of spatial context on residency probabilities of avian species on managed agricultural lands, as well as occupancy estimation and modeling.
