Saving Lives, Improving Health, and Lowering Costs on North Carolina Farms
About Certified Safe Farm
Certified Safe Farm and AgriSafe were developed and proven successful through research at the University of Iowa’s Center for Agricultural Safety and Health. The NC Tobacco Trust Fund Commission (NCTTFC) funded our successful pilot program in Duplin, Johnston and Sampson counties to adapt the program to North Carolina agriculture. With additional NCTTFC funding and overwhelming support from NC farmers, NC Cooperative Extension and the NC Agomedicine Institute are collaborating to offer Certified Safe Farm and AgriSafe in more NC Counties.
