New Blainville’s beaked whale paper

Check out a new paper from BMMRO on echolocation in mother-calf pairs of Blainville’s beaked whales. In short, this study provides novel insight into the vocal behavior of mothers when accompanied by calves and suggests that neonates dive with their mothers during foraging. See full paper here.
