Bahamas Conchservation on Grand Bahama.  Article here.  Part of
their message is that the flared lip criterion for harvest may not
be sufficient.  Instead, it is the thickness of the lip – it should be
at least 15mm thick.  This individual from Abaco would meet
that mark.

Deformed Trigger and Two Footed Conch

My picture of the tail-less lionfish lead to other people sharing some weird animal
deformities they have seen this week.  The triggerfish above likely was hit with a
spear and the wound has subsequently healed over.  Not sure about the two footed
conch below. Thanks to Rava and Nan!
